Isaac Wants Ian Go to His School

Posted by Peter Li on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 0 comments
Though they fight with each other (literally) every day, Isaac and Ian has begun to build their bondings. Whenever we have good stuffs to eat (like grapes), Ian would ask Isaac to sit (坐), and he would even try to get Isaac's plate for him. Whenever they go biking, Ian would help Isaac to put on his knee pads.

And today, when Isaac went to school, he saw Ms Tyna. The following was the dialog:

Isaac: "I want Ian go to my school."
Ms. Tyna: "How old is Ian?"
Isaac: "Almost Two."
Ms. Tyna: "He is too little."
Isaac: "He can go to the baby class..." (pointing to the classroom for younger ones, while walking away...)

The two brothers have begun to bond with each other! Hope they will fight less... (this probably is harder.)

First Movie Experience - The Lion King 3D

Posted by Peter Li on Saturday, September 17, 2011 0 comments
Today, it's the first time that we brought the boys to a true movie experience -- The Lion King 3D, at El Capitan Theater in Hollywood. The boys had been great fan of The Lion King's music, and they liked to dance whenever we played the song: I Can't Just Wait to be King. The movie experience at El Capitan was great. The pre-show was fun, and the 3D version of The Lion King was presented quite nicely.

After observing big brother Isaac swimming for 2 weeks in summer, finally Ian got his turn. He's now well prepared. To our surprise, he's not shy of water, and he enjoyed it a lot!

Getting ready...
Isaac has his swimming class too
Yo-Ho
Backward float
Kick, Kick, Kick
The sun is too bright
"Look, I found a small lobster!"
Are you ready to jump?

Disney Run 2011

Posted by Beverly Li on Saturday, September 03, 2011 0 comments
This year's Disney Run was our third year in a roll. Isaac now had much experience, and while Ian was first-timer. Many of their good friends also joined in the 100m kids race.

They start practicing once they got off from car.

"Are you confident to win the race, Isaac?" "Yes!"
So hard to get all the children sit together and take a picture. Anson is escaping already.
Set, Ready, Go!
Adrian and Athan take it easy and let their dad take more pictures.
Isaac runs off like a bullet!
Isaac keeps passing other kids
Dad wasn't sure it's Isaac when he captured this shot. He ran so fast.
Look, Uncle Jimmy has to run to catch up with Isaac for some shots!
Mom and Aunt Monica are so behind.
Ian can only walk
"No, you have to walk or run by yourself."
Hello, Dad!
Isaac and Ian don't know where Dad is.
Baby Sirena is in Diaper Rash race.

They are both winners!

First day of Preschool

Posted by Beverly Li on Thursday, September 01, 2011 0 comments
I couldn't believe that 4 weeks vacation had gone by so fast. Isaac started his first day of preschool today. I, Papa and Ian went to his school with him this morning. The director recommended that he arrived school at 8:30am today. We finished some paperwork and we stayed with him for assembly. He walked out from the mat a few time just to stay with Papa. Then we left right before he went back to his classroom. When I picked him up at 4:30pm, Isaac told me that "it is so much fun and Isaac loves school". We were so happy to hear that.

Kids from all classes gather at the assembly every morning
Isaac is looking for us
I can't believe most of the little kids know about natural science, like volcano, hurricane, and even tsunami... I think we need to start reading science books to him
While Isaac was at school, Ian played quietly at home. He missed his brother.
