Oahu - Day 2

Posted by Peter Li on Friday, August 05, 2011
It's a relaxing day, as we are still waiting for Michelle's husband to arrive. We checked out some local eateries. We had coffee and cakes at Morning Brew in Kailua. Then, we went to our nearby beach. Afterward, we checked out the Island Shave Ice. The boys all fell sleep soon afterward, as we drove to Waikiki. The Moms got a rare 1 hour private shopping time at the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center before the boys all woke up. Afterward, we just had some ramen for dinner, and then we bought some malasada cakes at Leonard's Bakery before heading to airport to pick up Danlun.

The boys have their breakfasts here every day
That's the coffee place
They have many interesting coffee here, like Funky Monkey (iced espresso with some banana and coconuts), German Mocha, etc. I wonder who will ever go to the Starbucks next block...

Isaac starts to become so close to Auntie Michelle...
I wonder if my friend come to open a restaurant here...
The best moments for the kids

It's really yummy!
They all fell sleep in the car... We parked the car at Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center. This is the best parking spot in Waikiki. You can park here for $3 for 4 hours with validation!
We even met Danlun's friend here, and we took a picture with the kids.
Shopping at Waikiki

Isaac found his favorite shop with Buzz Lightyear decoration.

Ramen is good

We bought some malasada at Leonards. In my opinions, the original malasada is the best. I still crave for it after coming back to LA.
