On this trip, we pretty much followed our President Barrack Obama's to eat list and our friend Joe's (not Joe Biden :-) recommendation for food. The first stop we made right after we got off plane is Zippy's, a restaurant chain that is famous for its chilli and fried chicken. Next, we had to Costco to pick up some grocery before we checked into our little beach house. The beach house is just 1 block away from the beautiful Lanikai Beach in Kailua area. We still have time to play at the beach in the afternoon. It's so relaxing.
Zippy's is everywhere in Hawaii.
I am amazed that they served with so much rice (look at the big bowl in the middle) and macaroni salad with the combo!
Isaac and Ethan enjoy shopping at Costco. Ethan still doesn't believe that we have arrived at Hawaii :-)
It's just a short walk to the beach. So convenient.
It's beautiful! I think Lanikai is definitely the top 5 beaches in the Hawaii Islands.
Ian is quite nervous about getting into the water...
